Mohs Surgery
This is a highly specialized technique conducted by dermatologists trained in the Mohs technique by the American College of Mohs Surgery. There are widely accepted criteria for what types/locations/sizes of skin cancers should be treated with Mohs given the very complex and technical nature of this procedure.
Morgan Creek Dermatology DOES NOT conduct Mohs in our office but works with local experts who provide this care for our patients.
Often appointments are scheduled early in the morning and it is frequently recommended to have someone with you. Additional questions about the procedure or the process in the clinic are best directed to the clinic where you have been referred.
